Hypefox AB is the data controller for the processing described in this policy.

Services operated under our brands — including Melonslab and Velrix — have their own privacy policies, published on the respective brand's website.

Personal data we collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Contact data — your name, email address and the content of your message when you contact us, for example at contact@hypefox.net.
  • Abuse report data — information you include when reporting abuse on our network, such as IP addresses, timestamps, logs and other evidence, together with your contact details.
  • Technical data — IP address, user agent, requested URLs and similar server log data generated automatically when you access the Website.
  • Preferences — your language choice, colour-mode setting and dismissed notices, stored in your browser (see Cookies and local storage below).

Purposes and legal bases

We process personal data for the following purposes, on the following legal bases under Article 6 of the GDPR:

  • Operating, securing and troubleshooting the Website and our network, including abuse and fraud prevention — legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Responding to inquiries and correspondence, including partnership requests — legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) or steps taken prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • Investigating and acting on abuse reports concerning AS214365 — legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) and, where applicable, legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
  • Complying with legal obligations, such as accounting requirements under the Swedish Bookkeeping Act and lawful requests from authorities — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).

Cookies and local storage

The Website uses only functional cookies and local storage. We do not use analytics, advertising or other non-essential cookies — and if that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first.

We keep personal data no longer than necessary for the purposes described above:

  • Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the matter and, where relevant, to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
  • Abuse reports and related evidence are kept for as long as required for investigation, remediation and follow-up.
  • Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting, and longer only where needed to investigate an incident.
  • Accounting records are kept for seven years in accordance with the Swedish Bookkeeping Act, where applicable.

Recipients

The Website runs on infrastructure that Hypefox owns and operates in Sweden, and we do not sell personal data. We share personal data only with:

  • Our content delivery provider, bunny.net (EU-based), which may process your IP address when serving Website assets.
  • IT service providers acting as processors on our behalf under data processing agreements, where used.
  • Public authorities, where we are legally required to disclose data.

International transfers

Personal data is processed within the EU/EEA. If a transfer outside the EU/EEA becomes necessary, we will rely on an adequacy decision of the European Commission or appropriate safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses.

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy of it;
  • have inaccurate or incomplete personal data rectified;
  • have your personal data erased in certain circumstances (the "right to be forgotten");
  • restrict the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances;
  • receive the personal data you have provided in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format (data portability);
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests, on grounds relating to your particular situation;
  • withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent, without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Exercising your rights and complaints

To exercise your rights, contact us at contact@hypefox.net. We respond within one month and may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY, imy.se) or with the supervisory authority in your country of residence.

Security

We protect personal data with technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including access controls, encryption in transit, network-level protections and monitoring. In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify IMY and, where required, affected individuals in accordance with the GDPR.
